Data Practitioners Are the Essence of Dun & Bradstreet

Best of Data Talks!

Our Data Experts Talk Shop

One of the greatest assets we have at Dun & Bradstreet is the group of experts who make up our Data Advisory team.

This team advises clients on data, technology, and analytics best practices. With an average of 20 years of experience each advising customers at Dun & Bradstreet — plus previous experience, often as prior clients of Dun & Bradstreet — these knowledgeable professionals add tremendous value for our customers’ organizations.

One of my favorite aspects of our routine when I was a member of this incredible team was our weekly meetups, during which we would review the different customer engagements we were working on and the challenges they posed. Although the team works on different use cases across industries, we noticed that we were having many common conversations with our clients when it came to explaining the value and workings of Dun & Bradstreet data and services. We started to think about how valuable those conversations end up being to others who work with data.

Then one of us had a brilliant idea: “If we enjoy having these conversations so much, why not bring them out into the open and make them an asset more people can benefit from?”

If you manage, consume, or work with data, there’s bound to be something of interest here to improve your skills and advance your data journey.

That’s how the idea for the Dun & Bradstreet’s conversational series Data Talks was born, a series of informal chats between Dun & Bradstreet data experts. To get started, our team compiled a list — an inventory of sorts — of the types of conversations we were having. With so many of our experts being able to speak to these topics, one of the toughest parts was figuring out whom to feature and how to limit our conversations to a modest 15-ish-minute discussion.

The result was 23 episodes that made up hours of content explaining and riffing on some of the most relevant topics we encounter while also sharing best practices and thought-provoking concepts.

If you manage, consume, or work with data, there’s bound to be something of interest here to improve your skills and advance your data journey.

Start exploring! We hope you enjoy getting to know some of our data experts as they share their knowledge and experiences.
